Wendy van Rijswijk

I am working on a project on national identity with Nick Hopkins (University of Dundee) and Steve Reicher (University of St. Andrews).

My previous work included the dynamic interplay between self presentation and impression formation, the effects of contextual and perceiver factors on the stereotyping of multiple category groups, and social identity theory.

I have also studied consumer perceptions of food traceability which involved both qualitative and quantitative research methods. In addition, we examined how people process information on food labels in line with the ELM model.
